The pandemic brought about change in us all and for Jas it brought about a new love. She learned to crochet during the first lockdown as a way to calm anxieties about uncertainty and loss. This turned into a passion for everything fiber— learning to spin yarn, learning to weave, learning to knit, and learning to create her own patterns.

Jas received her Masters in Fine Arts in 2022, focusing her practice on fiber arts. Each item of clothing, accessories, and home decor is made with the intention of bringing what was once considered “women’s work” to the level of fine art and craft.
